Once upon a time, there was a dog named Judo who had a difficult experience. Sadly, he was hit by a car which caused multiple fractures in his leg.
Judo suffered multiple fractures in his leg after being struck by a vehicle. Thankfully, RRSA India stepped in to assist him. It’s common for dogs who have been through traumatic events, such as being hit by a car, to experience numerous fractures.
Upon observation, it was evident that Judo was experiencing discomfort in one of his legs. Despite this, the little dog remained confident and displayed its strength akin to that of an eagle. Following a thorough examination, including both bloodwork and X-rays, it was determined that Judo had multiple fractures in his leg. In order to avoid any further complications, our first course of action was to stabilize him. This involved the use of intravenous fluids, antibiotics, and pain medication to keep the brave pup comfortable and prevent the risk of infection.
We brought him to a modern animal hospital that had advanced surgical tools and equipment. The veterinarian decided to perform a leg amputation since there was a high chance of infection and poor blood circulation. Prior to the surgery, we prepared him by wrapping his leg with a bandage to alleviate his pain and secure the fractures and lacerations.
Regrettably, it was too late to save his leg as the vet concluded that amputation was the most suitable course of action due to the increased chance of blood flow problems and infection.
